Safe working equipment
The German industrial safety regulations (Betriebssicherheitsverordnung, BetrSichV) dated 3rd of October 2002 as well as the accident-prevention regulations (Unfallverhütungsvorschriften) BGV D 36 / GUV-V D 36 and BGR 172 / BGR 173 demand of the employer to provide to its employees only such working equipment that are not only suitable for the workplace but also ensure safety and health protection by intended us (§ 4 BetrSichV).
What does this mean for you?
- The use of working equipment which comply with BGV D 36 / GUV-V D36, BGR 172 and BGR 173 as well as with current standards.
- The adequate inspection of the working equipment by a person especially authorised for this purpose (§ 10 BetrSichV).
- The documentation of the results of the inspection (§ 11 BetrSichV).
