Finally, "Work hard! Rock hard!" - The hardware fair is back and KRAUSE is "definitely" there

Due to Corona, the biennial international hardware fair had to take a break in 2020. Now, however, the leading trade fair of the hardware world is back and will open its doors in Cologne from 25 to 28 September 2022. An event at which KRAUSE, as an internationally successful traditional manufacturer of access and scaffolding systems with over 120 years of experience, cannot be missing. The access technology specialists will show new products, technical innovations and their range of services

Innovations for more safety, comfort and ergonomics

Among the luggage of the Hessians is the aluminium working scaffold ClimTec equipped with the new GuardMatic guardrail frame. These newly designed guardrail frames combine handrail, knee rail and diagonal brace in one component and can be easily and quickly hooked in and out from the platform below or from the ground. This means that a guardrail is already in place to protect against propping before the next platform level is entered. The innovative shape of the diagonal braces on the GuardMatic system provides one of the widest usable platform areas on the market. The diagonal braces can be folded in and fixed in place to save space for storage, transport to the site and for assembly and dismantling. With the GuardMatic system, which is used in all KRAUSE mobile scaffolds from a working height of 3.00 m, users achieve a time saving of up to 45% in their daily work during assembly and dismantling and do not have to do without great stability and safety thanks to the 6-point fixation. Visitors of the exhibition stand can get their own impression of the award-winning working scaffold and the innovative GuardMatic guardrail frames on site.

The already large KRAUSE mobile scaffold range has been extended again compared to the last hardware fair. With the mobile scaffold towers ProTec 1000 and ProTec XS 1000, two scaffold towers without stabilisers have been added to the range. Due to the smaller footprint, the base units of the two new scaffolds can easily be driven through doors, which makes them ideal mobile scaffolds for interior finishing. The castors are inserted directly into the vertical frames, which makes the assembly and dismantling of the mobile scaffold towers even quicker and easier.

Simple, practical folding scaffolds for use at low heights

In addition to the new GuardMatic railing system, interested fair visitors can take a look at two new folding scaffolds at the KRAUSE stand. The MONTO RollTec and CORDA Folding scaffolds reach working heights of up to 2.90 m and are therefore particularly suitable for interior finishing, renovation work and outdoor applications at low heights. The innovative folding units allow transport and storage of the scaffolds in assembled condition. Only the decking platform, which can be attached to the scaffold frame with practical hooks, has to be brought into working position so that the work can begin. The braked castors facilitate positioning during work and also enable transport when folded up. The scaffolds can be stored folded up with a width of only 25 cm in many niches and gaps and quickly find a small storage space even with limited space capacities. The platform remains directly on the scaffold, so that everything is quickly and easily ready again for the next job. While the STABILO and MONTO ProTec folding scaffolds are already established on the market, KRAUSE completes its folding scaffold range with these new products.

Workplace and traffic route in one ladder

Also apart from the mobile scaffold range, a lot has happened at KRAUSE since the last hardware fair. For example, the introduction of the TRBS (Technical Rules for Industrial Safety) 2121-2-compliant ladders of the STABILO + S series. These combine steps and rungs in one ladder and thus enable use as a traffic route and workplace. The removable ladder sections of the extension ladders, two-piece multi-purpose ladders and multipurpose ladders can also be removed in the TRBS-compliant version and used independently of the rest of the ladder. Maximum safety of a stepladder with the ergonomic advantages of a rung ladder, a combination that is not only interesting for commercial users. Visitors of the fair stand can convince themselves of the comfort of a +S ladder at the stand of the Alsfeld specialists and inform themselves about the new safety standards.
The Trigon traverse developed by KRAUSE in the course of the DIN EN 131 standard, which is also used in all other MONTO and STABILO extension and multi-purpose ladders besides the TRBS ladders, can also be examined and tested at the KRAUSE stand. The innovative traverse enables the standard-compliant use of the ladders in up to five variants, which gives KRAUSE customers a clear added value.

Shop-in-shop systems for KRAUSE specialist dealers

Especially for the many specialised dealers present at the hardware fair, KRAUSE presents a Shop-In-Shop system, where several assembly scaffolds are presented in a sample scaffold. After all scaffolds have been sold, the sample can also be sold or newly equipped with assembly scaffolds. Alternatively, individual assembly scaffolds can be reordered and the presentation replenished. Furthermore, this form of product presentation can be quickly and easily positioned at different places in the store as required. A practical added value at the point of sale that also makes the product tangible. The shop-in-shop presentation presented at the hardware fair is representative for many similar shop concepts of KRAUSE. The access technology experts will be pleased to present further models on site.

The experts for safe working at heights will of course also present their extensive range of services on the subject of occupational safety and standards to the visitors and are looking forward to informative and stimulating discussions with known customers and new interested parties.
