Standardised systems: a modular approach to efficiency
With a broad portfolio of stationary and mobile access platforms, stairs, platform stairs and access points, KRAUSE offers a solid basis for industrial applications. The modular systems can be quickly assembled, flexibly adapted and easily expanded.
In intralogistics and packaging technology, conveyor systems are often secured with KRAUSE bridging solutions, for example in the three-shift operation of a packaging centre. This can save up to 1,500 metres of walking distance per employee per day. Work areas become more accessible, emergency routes shorter and malfunctions can be rectified more quickly. In contrast to temporary constructions, KRAUSE systems offer maximum safety at all times. The components, such as steps, railings, platforms or chassis, are derived from an intelligent modular system. This enables short delivery times, simple extensions and economical scalability – even across multiple locations.
Tailor-made customised solutions for specific requirements
Complex system contours, confined spaces or dynamic processes require individual solutions. KRAUSE has developed a movable platform for EMS Precab GmbH for flow production. This has brakes on one side of the castors on the conveyor belt and no brakes on the castors on the hall floor. This ensures a secure footing at all times. The platform is height-adjustable, fully secured with railings and ergonomically designed. It enables safe, efficient processing of a wide variety of components with reduced stress, improved quality and a more stable process chain.
Another example is KAMAX GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of fasteners for the automotive industry. Three stationary platforms were designed for this company, which were precisely adapted to the built-in furnace ceilings of two tempering furnaces and one hardening furnace. Pipes, cable ducts and other obstacles required precise customisation. After an initial assessment, the technicians at KRAUSE created the production drawings for the various platforms. The result is highly flexible, permanently safe and seamlessly integrated into the production logistics.
From planning to testing – KRAUSE 360° competence
In addition to its products, it is above all its service that sets KRAUSE apart from other suppliers. 360° competence supports customers throughout the entire life cycle of a solution: from consulting to planning and implementation to regular inspection.
It always starts with an on-site analysis. Together with the customer, KRAUSE experts assess the technical, spatial and organisational conditions. Based on this information, practical concepts are developed that not only meet current requirements but also take future developments into account. With the help of modern CAD systems and many years of experience, solutions are developed that integrate seamlessly into existing processes.
Installation is carried out by trained KRAUSE teams – quickly, precisely and with minimal disruption to operations. In addition, the company offers training courses for ‘qualified persons’, for example in accordance with BetrSichV in conjunction with TRBS 1203, covering all aspects of testing and maintaining the systems. This results in a comprehensive service package.
Digital inspection with the wosatec web app
A central component is the legally required regular inspection of installed systems. Together with the Berlin-based start-up company wosatec, KRAUSE has digitised this inspection process. With the help of the web app, inspections of all work equipment – from ladders to complex platforms – can be carried out directly via smartphone or tablet. It includes digital checklists, photo documentation, defect recording and archiving. Automatic reminders prevent deadlines from being missed. This means that inspections can be viewed centrally, documented in a legally compliant manner and traced at any time, which is particularly advantageous for large plants and multiple locations.
System solutions with vision – sustainability and ergonomics
Tailor-made access reduces walking distances and physical strain, improving posture, concentration and productivity. Height-adjustable platforms and contoured work areas promote ergonomic working. Durable, weather-resistant aluminium components are recyclable and thus support ecological corporate goals.
Increasing efficiency in manufacturing begins with clear processes, well-thought-out technology and a partner who combines safety, cost-effectiveness and sustainability. With standardised and customised solutions, comprehensive service and digital testing systems, KRAUSE delivers a complete package that reduces downtime and optimises production processes – today and in the future.
