Safe access and workplace
The chassis of the KRAUSE tanker ladder is made of sturdy, hot-dip galvanised steel and is equipped with handles for easy movement. This enables a high degree of flexibility in use, as the ladder can be quickly positioned at the desired location. The wide cantilevered platform also makes it possible to work without having to drive under silo or tank wagons.
The tanker ladder can be adjusted in height from rung to rung in 280 mm increments with little effort using a maintenance-friendly toothed rack with crank. This allows the ladder to be optimally adapted to different vehicle heights. An additional locking mechanism prevents unintentional adjustment and uncontrolled sliding back of the top section of the ladder.
After adjusting the height and locking the swivel castors, the ladder can be climbed and work can begin. The handrail on both sides ensures maximum safety when climbing up and down and merges directly into the platform railing.
Different versions for different requirements
The KRAUSE tanker ladder is available in different versions to meet the various requirements of the logistics industry. One important variant concerns the railing cage: there is a choice of a round version measuring 1,500 x 1,500 mm or a square version measuring 2,300 x 1,500 mm. Both versions offer comprehensive protection and secure the user when exiting the tanker ladder onto the roof of the vehicles.
Different platform variants are also available. Depending on the area of application, a ribbed, slip-resistant aluminium platform can be selected, which is particularly easy to clean. Alternatively, an aluminium grating with R13 slip-resistance offers additional stability and enables better water and dirt drainage.
You can choose between plastic and solid rubber tyres. The solid rubber tyres offer high stability and are particularly suitable for uneven floors. Plastic tyres, on the other hand, offer the advantage of a lower overall weight and are easy to manoeuvre on smooth surfaces.
A set of foot spindles can be used to ensure a level stance on uneven surfaces. This set is already integrated in the version with solid rubber tyres and can be retrofitted as an accessory for the version with plastic wheels. This flexibility ensures that the tanker ladder remains safe and stable even in difficult conditions.
