Safe working conditions in various areas of the vehicle
Work on rail vehicles and buses requires a high level of safety, ergonomics and efficiency. Roof structures, front and side sections, vehicle interconnections and components that are difficult to access must be reliably accessible. Added to this are different vehicle types, varying working heights, limited space and the integration of access technology into existing workshops, depots or production halls.
KRAUSE develops stationary and mobile access solutions for this purpose, tailored to the specific task at hand. The range extends from platform stairs, access ladders and maintenance platforms, through front, side and roof work platforms, to height-adjustable structures and complete access systems for production and maintenance areas.
Depending on the application, the systems can be mobile or permanently installed, manually or electrically adjustable, and fitted with project-specific guardrails, extendable sections, access points and decking. In this way, safe standing areas and ergonomic working positions can be created in the relevant areas of the vehicle.

Specific applications and completed projects
Numerous completed projects demonstrate just how varied the requirements in the rail industry can be. These include stationary roof work platforms with contour-adapted extensions, electrically height-adjustable platforms, combinable mobile maintenance platforms, compact access solutions for trams, and comprehensive platform and access systems for production halls and maintenance depots.
These examples illustrate that not every task requires the same solution. Whilst one site may require mobile access for a variety of vehicles, at another location a permanently integrated roof work platform or a complete maintenance facility may be the appropriate solution.

Using selected exhibits and digitally presented project examples, KRAUSE will demonstrate how access solutions can be adapted to different vehicles, work processes and spatial conditions.
