KRAUSE access technology professionals presented occupational safety innovations at the A+A in Düsseldorf

The world's largest trade fair for personal protection and occupational safety, A+A, once again attracted an interested trade audience to the Düsseldorf exhibition centre this year to exchange information on innovations, solutions and ideas for safer, healthier and more efficient working. As a specialist in access technology and related occupational safety technology, KRAUSE was not to be missed and presented new products, special solutions and the extensive range of "Safety Services", consisting of seminars, training courses and testing services.

KRAUSE on A+A in Düsseldorf

Access technology innovations to touch

New in the KRAUSE product range and ready for testing at the exhibition stand was the STABILO stepladder with a load capacity of up to 225 kg and a 40% higher safety bar with storage tray. The ladder is representative of two other heavy-duty stepladder models, a double-sided stepladder and a single ladder, which now complete the large range of KRAUSE ladders.

Also for the first time at A+A, the family-owned company presented a new plug-in ladder system, which is primarily used by glass cleaners, but is also increasingly being used in other areas. The system, in which the ladder can be assembled from up to four ladder sections as required, is available in versions with steps, R13 steps and rungs. The rear of the top section is fitted with wall rollers, which make it easy to slide the ladder along walls and façades during assembly and dismantling. The ladder sections can be combined and plugged together depending on the working height to be achieved and are the only ones on the market with a load capacity of up to 150 kg. The push-fit ladder system means that the ladder can be stowed away to save space and can also be stored on the roof of service vehicles. This system can also be used in confined spaces or taken along in lifts without any problems.

TRBS 2121-2-compliant ladders +S

The innovative TRBS 2121-2-compliant ladders were also part of the Hesse team's luggage this year. The ladders are equipped with steps and rungs and thus fulfil the requirements and specifications of the "Technical Rules for Operational Safety". These state that ladders may only be used as a traffic route up to five metres and that a ladder may only be used as a workplace with steps. Although this is not a legally binding regulation, if a company decides to deviate from this guidance, it must ensure the same level of safety and health protection for its employees. The innovative KRAUSE solution was once again very well received at the trade fair and was extensively tested by many users at the stand.

Customised special solutions and safety services

The trade fair presentation was rounded off by customisable special solutions, which are always used when off-the-shelf access technology solutions no longer fit and KRAUSE customers need a safe working environment. The comprehensive services in the area of training, testing and seminars, called "KRAUSE Safety Services", also met with great interest among the trade fair visitors.

The KRAUSE employees drew a consistently positive conclusion from the trade fair, which takes place every two years, had many interesting and productive discussions and are looking forward to future projects with existing and newly acquired contacts.
