KRAUSE-Werk GmbH & Co. KG receives certification according to ISO 14001:2015

As a supplier of access and scaffolding systems, KRAUSE can look back on a family tradition of more than 120 years. The high quality standards of the company have already been tested by internationally standardised quality standards and proved by a certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. In a further step, in addition to the renewal of this certificate, the certificate of the environmental management system ISO 14001:2015 was also awarded to the Hessian family business.

The internationally recognised ISO 9001 standard is used by many companies worldwide as an instrument for continuous improvement and control of performance. The original aim of the certification by DQS GmbH was the desire to optimise internal processes, to create customer-oriented and comprehensible processes and thus to achieve the highest reliability in product quality and adherence to delivery dates.

From customer enquiries to production and delivery to after-sales service, all processes were recorded and revised as necessary. This resulted in long-term benefits for customer satisfaction and the working atmosphere. At the same time, the company's efficiency increased, as costs could be saved by optimising processes and structures.

This is also particularly emphasised by the technical managing director Thomas Löser in the interview: "By constantly striving for improvement, KRAUSE continuously faces the current market requirements and thus increases its competitiveness in the global markets. The excellent result could only be achieved because all colleagues from different areas pulled together. We are pleased that our high quality standards have again been confirmed by the ISO certification. ISO 9001 certification signals reliability and is an effective instrument for controlling quality processes in order to meet customer requirements in the best possible way. Clear processes and clearly defined responsibilities make systematic quality management a central building block. A comprehensive QM system is fundamental for continuous performance improvement and leads to greater efficiency and reliability."

In addition to the confirmation of these high quality demands of internal processes, KRAUSE has now also been awarded the globally accepted and applied certificate for environmental management systems, ISO 14001:2015, for the first time. This international standard specifies requirements for an environmental management system with which an organisation can improve its environmental performance, fulfil legal and other obligations and achieve environmental goals.

"Environmental protection and sustainability are becoming increasingly important in our society. We are pleased to actively contribute to improving the environmental balance and are proud that this has been officially confirmed by the award of the certificate," Thomas Löser continues.

"The continuous improvement of our environmental performance and optimisation of processes combined with the saving of resources and energy will continue to be a goal of our daily actions in the future."
