KRAUSE wooden ladders - the safe and durable choice for painters and decorators, varnishers and plasterers

Wooden ladders have always been the classic among ladders and offer painters and decorators, varnishers and plasterers many advantages over aluminium ladders. Made from high-quality wood, KRAUSE wooden ladders are characterised by their robustness, durability and high level of ergonomic comfort. Their chemically neutral properties make them an indispensable work tool in many trades.

Ergonomic comfort and material neutrality - environmentally friendly, sustainable, robust and durable

Wood is more pleasant to the touch than metal, as it does not feel cold at different temperatures and does not leave discolouration on hands, clothing or walls. Painters, wallpaperers and plasterers benefit from the fact that their work does not leave any black marks. Wood is also chemically neutral and does not react with paints, adhesives or water. This gives the material additional stability and prevents unwanted reactions, even with intensive use.

Wood is a renewable raw material and KRAUSE ladders are made from sustainably sourced wood. The natural material is recyclable and therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic or aluminium ladders. Wooden ladders are the ideal choice for craftsmen and companies that rely on sustainable materials and guarantee a long service life. Wooden ladders are therefore particularly robust and durable, which makes them attractive for long-term use in different working environments.

The right wooden ladder for every application

Whether in the garden, in the workshop or for professional use - KRAUSE offers wooden ladders in various designs and sizes. The double-sided wooden ladders from the KRAUSE range, also known as trestle ladders, are available with steps, rungs or a combination of steps and rungs. The deep steps ensure high stability and a comfortable stand. This is particularly important for commercial users of ladders. Since the new version of the Technical Rules for Operational Safety TRBS 2121 Part 2, they may only use ladders as workplace if they stand with both feet on a step with a tread of at least 80 mm or on a platform.

The double step/rung ladder is particularly interesting here. All accessible levels of this ladder are fitted with slip-resistant steps, which allow you to stand without tiring, even when working for long periods. The two upper levels, which must not be walked on according to the standard, are fitted with rungs and serve to stabilise the stand when the ladder is in the fixed position.

However, wooden ladders are also of interest to private users due to their aesthetic and practical properties. In addition to their function as work equipment, wooden ladders are increasingly being used as a decorative element and serve as an original coat rack or shelf in the living area.

To protect sensitive floors and increase slip-resistance, many wooden ladders can be fitted with slip-resistant foot caps. These are simply slipped over the rails of the ladder. Wooden ladders can also be fitted with the practical ToolBag tool tray or the magnetic tool holder. Loaded with tools or materials before climbing, they reduce the number of ascents and descents and thus increase efficiency and safety. KRAUSE wooden ladders offer a safe and environmentally friendly solution for many users and a wide variety of work situations. Their durable construction and long service life make them an investment that pays off in the long term.
