KRAUSE impresses at LogiMAT 2026 with practical solutions for safe intralogistics

Under the motto “Passion for Details”, KRAUSE once again presented a wide range of access technology and system solutions for modern production and logistics environments at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart. The focus was on safe access to workstations, machinery and racking systems, as well as intelligent bridging of transport routes.

Crossovers and walkways as a contribution to more efficient processes

The custom-designed crossovers and walkways, which KRAUSE implements on a project-by-project basis, attracted particular interest. In many facilities, conveyor belts and transport routes are integral parts of the processes, yet at the same time they present obstacles to maintenance work and internal traffic. The solutions on display illustrated how walking distances can be shortened, maintenance work made easier and safety standards improved – from concept to final acceptance.

Work platforms for ergonomics, safety and productivity

Customer-specific work platforms were equally in demand. Whether permanently installed, mobile or electrically height-adjustable: many discussions centred on designs featuring adjustable platform areas, pull-out sections and practical features. These support workflows whilst making them safer. Particularly with machines featuring complex contours, it became clear why bespoke solutions are often the more economical and safer choice.

Focus on comfort and safety: STABILO products with 135 mm deep Premium-D-steps

Particular attention was paid to products designed for extended periods of use, high ergonomics and safe working in industrial and logistics environments. The 135-millimetre-deep premium D-steps offer significantly more standing surface area than classic steps, reduce pressure peaks on the foot and support a stable, controlled working position, which is particularly advantageous for tasks involving prolonged standing or frequently repeated movements. This step design is used, amongst other things, in the new STABILO 135 XL step ladder with a load capacity of 225 kilograms and an extra-high safety bar, as well as in the new STABILO double folding steps, which KRAUSE presented at LogiMAT. Within this series, the Double folding step 135 XL and the Double folding step 135 are two variants available, each with a load capacity of 225 kilograms, 135-millimetre-deep premium D-steps and different platform sizes of 600 × 300 millimetres and 420 × 300 millimetres respectively. The Double folding step 80 combines a standing area of 420 × 300 millimetres with 80-millimetre-deep steps and is aimed at users who require a particularly compact and space-saving solution. The presentation was complemented by the tried-and-tested telescopic platform ladder SkyMatic, as well as various platform ladders, which provide safe, comfortable and practical access, particularly for work in the areas of warehousing, logistics, production and maintenance.

Safety concepts for flat roofs as a holistic approach

Another focus was on comprehensive safety concepts for flat roofs. KRAUSE demonstrated how fixed ladders, standard-compliant access points and collective fall protection can be combined into complete systems. It became clear that durable solutions and well-designed transitions can reduce the organisational burden during operation.

Service, inspection and digital equipment management as key topics of discussion

Alongside the exhibits, advice on standards, regulations and inspection requirements played a central role.Digital inspection and equipment management also attracted a great deal of attention: QR codes on KRAUSE ladders allow inspections and documentation to be tracked via a web app – including reminder functions and centralised management.

Successful trade fair discussions and concrete project ideas

From KRAUSE’s perspective, the trade fair was a great success. Numerous technical discussions, specific project enquiries and the continued high level of interest in bespoke solutions underscored the importance of safe access and transfer systems in intralogistics. LogiMAT 2026 thus once again provided a strong platform for exchange, networking and the further development of efficient working environments.
