Robust and flexible - the KRAUSE TeleBoard-System

For many manual tasks such as wallpapering, painting or interior work, craftsmen and DIY enthusiasts are faced with the challenge of reaching large wall and ceiling surfaces safely and efficiently. Without suitable working platforms, this often leads to inefficient solutions: Constantly adjusting the position of ladders and balancing on small standing surfaces not only cost valuable time, but also significantly increase the risk of accidents.

KRAUSE TeleBoard-System in use

This is exactly where the KRAUSE TeleBoard comes in as an optimised solution. As a flexibly telescopic work platform, it creates a stable and expandable standing surface. With its high load-bearing capacity and variable work surface of up to 3.50 metres, the system significantly improves work safety and efficiency. This sophisticated combination of safety and flexibility makes the TeleBoard an indispensable tool in demanding areas of application.

Functionally expandable aluminium board

The TeleBoard is supplied with two non-slip mats on which the Teleboard can be placed without slipping. Step ladders, hinged ladders or existing elevations such as steps at the workplace can be used as supports. The maximum standing height of one metre must not be exceeded. The non-slip mats prevent the TeleBoard from slipping and protect the support surface. The practical KRAUSE multipurpose hinged ladder with rungs can be set up as two separate double ladders, for example, and is therefore ideal for use with the TeleBoard.

If this is too cumbersome for you, you can consider purchasing the ‘BoardStand’ support stands specially developed for the TeleBoard. The feet, which can be mounted on both sides and have slip-resistant foot plugs, transform the TeleBoard into a fixed work platform with a working height of 2.50 metres. This can be repositioned with a flick of the wrist, which further increases effectiveness.

If you want to go even higher and need additional safety and flexibility, you can extend the TeleBoard and BoardStand with the height-adjustable TeleSet. The three-stage height-adjustable feet have a stabiliser and thus extend the installation surface. In this configuration, the working height of the Teleboard increases to between 2.60 and 2.80 metres. The height adjustment on both sides means that uneven surfaces and small obstacles can also be levelled out.

Construction and material advantages

The TeleBoard consists of a closed aluminium case profile that offers high stability and resistance. Dirt, debris etc. cannot settle inside due to the closed design and smooth handling is guaranteed. Another advantage of this structure is that the board is easy to clean. Aluminium is not only corrosion-resistant and lightweight, but also robust, which makes the TeleBoard ideal for use in demanding environments. Despite its low weight, it can bear loads of up to 200 kg, which means it can also be used with heavy materials or tools. Internal glide inserts ensure convenient operation of the infinitely variable extension. This is also fitted with a safety catch to prevent it from extending unintentionally during transport.

In contrast, conventional wooden planks are often heavier and less durable. Wood tends to absorb moisture, which can affect stability in the long term, while aluminium is weather-resistant and is therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Wide range of applications

The TeleBoard allows the user to work on a wide and stable surface, which is particularly advantageous when working on large wall or ceiling surfaces. The TeleBoard is ideal for many large-scale jobs, such as trimming hedges. The ability to store the required materials such as tools, paint, etc. eliminates the need to frequently get on and off the TeleBoard. Work can be completed faster, more efficiently and often ‘in one go’ with the TeleBoard-System. The risk of accidents is minimised and working comfort is significantly increased.

However, the telescopic board also offers safe and comfortable standing and an additional storage option for longer jobs during assembly work where no large areas need to be worked on and the TeleBoard does not need to be moved. The aluminium telescopic plank can be used universally in combination with ladders, steps, scaffolding, stairs or platforms. This means you are extremely flexible and can react to almost any situation.

The KRAUSE TeleBoard is a significant improvement on conventional wooden planks. The flexible length adjustment, the compact transport dimensions and the weather-resistant material make it a versatile and safe solution for professional craft work, which can be carried out without frequent changes of position and with more stability.
