Maximum slip resistance for maximum safety
The KRAUSE product development team always endeavours to offer users the greatest possible benefit with maximum work safety. The STABILO series of step ladders, window cleaner ladders and platform ladders have therefore been extended to include versions with R13 steps to offer users maximum slip resistance with the highest slip resistance class. The self-cleaning steps with an open hole pattern offer maximum safety even under the most adverse conditions and are easy to clean. The profiling of the steps prevents dirt, mud, snow or ice from sticking as the dirt falls through the holes. The ladders are therefore self-cleaning when climbed. In contrast to many other R13 steps on the market with additional rubber or plastic inserts, the KRAUSE R13 step, which is made entirely of aluminium, is not subject to further wear. In addition to the steps, the platform of the single-sided step ladder is also equipped with these anti-slip properties.
Step ladders - the practical helpers in everyday working life
Like their counterparts with conventional steps, the newly developed R13 step ladder variants are quickly to hand and can be set up almost anywhere without any problems. When folded, they take up little storage space and can be stowed away easily and efficiently. Depending on the number of steps, the models reach working heights of 2.95 m to 4.80 m as a single-sided step ladder and from 2.25 m to 4.35 m as a double-sided step ladder. The practical, bolted storage tray of the single-sided step ladder has cable holders and bucket hooks, several storage options for tools and a large storage area. This reduces the number of ascents and descents required and therefore increases efficiency and safety.
In addition to the new step ladders with R13 steps, heavy-duty versions of the two step ladders and the leaning step ladder have also been developed that can bear loads of up to 225 kg. The version of the single-sided step ladder has also been equipped with a 40 per cent higher safety rail. This ensures even greater safety - even or especially for very tall users. By equipping all three ladders with profiled and reinforced D-steps, the requirements of TRBS 2121-2 for the use of steps as workplace are met. The single ladder can also be used as a traffic route when the user leaves the ladder to reach a higher or lower level.
Revised platform ladders for even greater work safety and ergonomics
KRAUSE platform ladders are an indispensable aid in industry, trade and warehouse technology and fulfil a wide range of requirements for work safety and efficiency. The mobile work platforms provide users with a safe, hands-free stand for demanding activities at working heights of up to almost 4 metres. With the aim of always offering users the best product with maximum safety and comfort, the existing platform ladders have undergone a product relaunch and, in addition to some fundamental improvements, have been extended to include a version with steps and platform with anti-slip class R13.
The new platform railing of the platform ladder represents a significant improvement with the KRAUSE Connect-System which ensures a stable connection without interfering couplings. The stepless connection between the separately available handrails and the platform guardrail is therefore possible without the user having to reach round. Depending on the platform ladder version, the two- or three-sided platform guardrail has been fitted with a reinforced knee rail. In addition, since the relaunch, an extra high toeboard has been installed, which at 100 millimetres is 100% higher than required by the EN 131-7 standard.
New plug-in ladder system for window cleaners
Window cleaner ladders consist of individual parts that can be plugged together and have been used by building cleaners for many years to clean large glass surfaces safely and effectively. KRAUSE has fundamentally relaunched the existing window cleaner ladders and now offers them not only with rungs but also with steps or anti-slip steps of class R13. With the new models and the increase in load capacity, the plug-in ladder mechanism has also been optimised and equipped with an automatic locking mechanism as part of the relaunch.
Practical accessories for every ladder
KRAUSE offers an extensive range of accessories for the transport and storage of ladders. For example, the ladder holder set for roof racks. The two easy-to-use clamps are hooked into the roof rack and adjusted to the height of the ladder sections to be transported. Depending on the width of the rail, up to four individual ladder sections can be attached to the roof. After initial adjustment, the roof clamps can be fixed and released again using quick-release fasteners. This makes handling easier and saves valuable working time. To protect the ladders from theft, the roof clamps can be locked using integrated locks with a synchronised locking device.
