The perfect solution for safe driving in all seasons
In bad weather conditions in autumn and winter, removing roof soiling is difficult, especially on larger vehicles. Often a single ladder is used for this purpose, which has to be repositioned several times in order to reach the entire roof of the vehicle. Unfavourable weather conditions make this process more difficult and can turn the use of the ladder into a dangerous undertaking. The KRAUSE Ice-free scaffold system is the safe solution to remove all kinds of residues from the vehicle roof. It can be used all year round and offers optimal access possibilities. The system of the Alsfeld manufacturer is an excellent solution for companies and vehicle drivers. It is available in standard platform sizes of 6 m, 9 m, 12 m and 15 m. Special sizes are also possible. This means that the de-icing scaffold can be flexibly used for any truck or commercial vehicle. The non-slip steel grating steps ensure maximum safety during ascent and descent. This allows the user to reach the working platform quickly and safely. The system of the height work specialists from Alsfeld is not only suitable for autumn and winter. It offers optimal conditions for cleaning or servicing vehicles all year round. Thanks to the four-sided side protection consisting of guardrails and self-closing transition barrier as well as the steel perforated platforms, safe and comfortable working with the TÜV-certified access solution is possible without any problems in any weather.
The scaffolding system can also be used safely on uneven ground thanks to infinitely adjustable spindle feet. It adapts optimally to the existing terrain. It can be used free-standing supported by outriggers or attached to a wall. For mobile use, a version with castors can be offered if required. For special requirements KRAUSE has developed numerous extensions and offers useful accessories. This makes the scaffold the ideal working tool for every situation. For example, with the railing extension set the lower, second platform can also be used as a walking surface. The optionally available ice sweeper with its hard PVC heads makes it possible to break up ice slabs. The extra-long handle and rubber lip make it easy to remove snow and ice. After use, it can be stored safely and space-saving in the matching holder. A safety barrier set with a warning panel on the stairway protects against unauthorised access to the scaffolding.
Comprehensive services for occupational safety
If ice-free scaffolds are used in the company, they must be inspected by a qualified person (expert according to BetrSichV in conjunction with TRBS 1203) in accordance with the regulations of the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health and the Workplace Ordinance before they are used for the first time and at regular intervals thereafter. It is recommended not to exceed the inspection interval of 12 months. Ultimately, however, the inspection intervals are finally determined within the framework of a risk assessment. In particular, influencing factors such as environmental conditions, weather influences and frequency of use play a role here. Apart from the individual installation on site, these safety checks can also be carried out as a service by qualified KRAUSE staff.
The original KRAUSE ice-free scaffold system is recommended by numerous associations and organisations nationwide. It is the right climbing solution for car yards, companies and public facilities.
