Safe at height and flexible in use - the new mobile KRAUSE platform ladders

KRAUSE platform ladders are an indispensable aid in industry, trade and warehouse technology and fulfil a wide range of requirements for work safety and efficiency. The mobile work platforms enable users to stand safely with their hands free for demanding activities at working heights of up to almost 4 metres. With the aim of always offering users the best product with maximum safety and comfort, the KRAUSE platform ladders have undergone a product relaunch. One major improvement is the new handrail on the platform ladder. Using the KRAUSE Connect-System, this ensures a stepless and stable connection between the stair handrail and the handrail of the platform, which therefore does not require the user to reach round. Depending on the version, the two- or three-sided platform railing has been fitted with a reinforced knee rail. Since the relaunch, an extra-high toeboard has also been installed, which at 100 millimetres is 100 percent higher than required by the EN 131-7 standard. The platform ladders, which can be accessed from one or both sides, are now also available with profiled gratings in slip resistance class R13. Visitors to the trade fair can see these advantages for themselves at the stand and test the platform ladders on site.

Heavy-duty ladders with a load capacity of up to 225 kg

Another new addition to the KRAUSE product portfolio are variants of the single and double-sided step ladder and the leaning ladder, which are now available as heavy-duty ladders. These new models of the established ladders on the market can withstand an even higher load due to their design and offer all the familiar advantages of the respective ladder. The heavy-duty version of the single-sided step ladder has also been equipped with a 40 per cent higher safety rail. This ensures even greater safety - even or especially for very tall users.

R13 slip-resistance for other ladder models

Ladders are indispensable in many areas, whether in the home, in industry, in administration, in facility management, on construction sites or in agriculture. They enable access to higher areas that would be inaccessible without aids. However, the use of ladders also harbours risks, especially when they are used in damp, oily or even muddy environments. For precisely these applications, KRAUSE has extended its stepladder programme to include a single-sided and a double-sided ladder with R13 anti-slip steps. The self-cleaning steps and the standing platform with an open hole pattern offer maximum safety even under the most adverse conditions and are easy to clean. The profiling prevents dirt, mud, snow or ice from sticking as the dirt falls through the holes. This provides a self-cleaning function when climbing the ladders. In contrast to many other R13 steps on the market with additional rubber or plastic inserts, the KRAUSE R13 step, which is made entirely of aluminium, is not subject to further wear. Efficiency and durability that users of KRAUSE products appreciate. The window cleaner ladder, realised as a plug-in system, has also been extended to include a version with anti-slip R13 steps.

Telescopic step ladders for safe use on stairs

The use of ladders in stairwells or in the area of large landings is usually only possible with aids, if at all. However, in many cases these do not fulfil the safety requirements or are cumbersome to install and move. KRAUSE is addressing this problem with the introduction of two new telescopic step ladders. These have four extendable rail extensions that can be quickly and easily adapted to the conditions and obstacles. Available as a single-sided step ladder with safety bar and storage tray or as a double-sided step ladder, the two new step ladders offer all the advantages of the conventional models.

The KRAUSE team is looking forward to many interesting discussions, new contacts and a lively exchange at the trade fair stand.
