World first in the spotlight: STABILO products with 135 mm deep Premium-D steps

One of the most significant innovations was double folding steps designed for longer, more comfortable working: the 135-millimetre-deep Premium D-steps offer significantly more standing surface area than traditional steps, reduce pressure peaks on the foot and support a steadier, more controlled working position – particularly during prolonged periods of standing and repetitive movements. 

This step design is featured both in the new STABILO 135 XL step ladder, with a load capacity of 225 kilograms and an extra-high safety bar, and in the new STABILO double folding steps, which KRAUSE unveiled for the first time at the trade fair. There are three models in the series: the Double Folding Step 135 XL and Double Folding Step 135 variants each support up to 225 kilograms, feature the 135-millimetre-deep Premium D-steps and differ in the size of the upper standing surface: 600 × 300 millimetres and 420 × 300 millimetres respectively. The Double Folding Step 80 combines a 420 × 300 mm standing surface with 80 mm deep steps and is aimed at users seeking a particularly compact, space-saving solution.

Flexible working heights with a safe platform: SkyMatic in action

The SkyMatic telescopic platform ladder was also showcased at the stand as a solution for any task requiring a combination of varying working heights and a safe working environment. As a mobile, single-sided access platform ladder, it combines a spacious, slip-resistant standing platform with a 4-sided platform guardrail and a self-closing transition barrier. This ensures the user is fully protected from all sides whilst working. The platform height can be adjusted smoothly using the ClickMatic-System. This means that multiple working heights can be covered by a single model, and the ladder can also be flexibly positioned on stairs or landings. Sturdy stabilisers with slip-resistant, floor-protecting foot caps ensure a secure footing, whilst integrated swivel castors make it easy to move the ladder with one hand. For greater working heights, infinitely adjustable outriggers provide additional stability, whilst quick-release fasteners and safety straps prevent the ladder from folding in or out unintentionally. The compact design makes it easy to store.

Greater efficiency in scaffolding: ClimTec with trolley function

Another key focus was the further development of the ClimTec working scaffold: the version with a working height of up to 7.00 m was presented as a practical solution that can now also be used as a trolley for all ClimTec components. In day-to-day use, it really comes into its own where short assembly times, organised components and compact storage make all the difference. This makes transporting and setting up the ClimTec system significantly easier.

Comfort and stability for frequent use: Solido XL

KRAUSE also attracted considerable interest in the comfortable step ladder segment. The Solido XL impressively demonstrated how standing comfort and stability can be optimally combined for frequent use. With 80 mm deep V-steps featuring slip-resisting profiling, an extra-large safety platform and design details such as flanged step/rail connections and a robust hinge connection, the ladder was clearly aimed at users who, when undertaking DIY and craft projects, do not just need to reach up ‘quickly’ but wish to carry out longer tasks safely and steadily.

Live experience at the stand: compare variants, feel the differences

The trade fair presentation was complemented by colourful multi-purpose ladders and step ladders serving as eye-catching product range highlights, the SkyMatic telescopic platform ladder in live operation, and a step tester where the differences between the step variants could be felt directly. In doing so, the KRAUSE stand remained true to what makes access technology most convincing: the practical comparison that turns product features into real application benefits.
