With over 200 model variants, KRAUSE offers what is probably the most comprehensive mobile scaffold programme on the market. The right system is available for every task and frequency of use - from occasional use to daily continuous use. Important: Mobile scaffold towers must not be used on natural ground. A stable, level surface is absolutely essential for safe use - this applies in particular to outdoor use on construction sites, industrial areas or in the municipal sector.
Tailor-made solutions for use at great heights
Mobile scaffolding really comes into its own when working above 5 metres - for example when inspecting façades, cleaning work or replacing lighting systems - compared to ladders or simple working platforms: The user has both hands free, can place tools or materials directly on the platform and benefits from a safe and ergonomic working position.
KRAUSE moble scaffolds are divided into three product lines: CORDA for occasional use in the private sector, MONTO for ambitious DIY enthusiasts and tradesmen and STABILO for daily use on professional construction sites or in industry. Depending on the model, working heights of between 3 m and 14.50 m are possible.
Various criteria play a role in the selection of a suitable rolling tower. One of the most important is the working height, which results from the platform height plus two metres. In addition, the systems differ in terms of platform length and width, which define the available working area - in the case of mobile scaffolding with a double working surface, two platforms are available next to each other. The equipment with castors also varies depending on the model: there are different sizes and surfacings, e.g. to protect sensitive floors, or height-adjustable models for precise levelling. Mobile scaffolds with or without a stabiliser also allows flexible adaptation to the available space - without compromising stability. Many models are supplied with stabilisers as standard, which further increase stability. Depending on the assembly height, ballast weights are also used, the number of which can be found in the respective assembly and instruction manual and which differ according to the assembly height as well as indoor and outdoor use. Access is via the rungs of the vertical frames, whereby the STABILO Series 5500 offers a particularly ergonomic solution for frequent access - e.g. during assembly work - with its convenient stair access.
Carry out spring work safely - with the GuardMatic-System
The revised DIN EN 1004 standard recently redefined key requirements for the assembly of mobile working platforms. One key change is that guardrails must be installed either from the ground or from the platform below. Alternatively, guardrails can also be installed through the open platform hatch. However, KRAUSE deliberately goes beyond the minimum requirements - with the specially developed GuardMatic-System which is used on all STABILO and MONTO mobile scaffolds.
This innovative safety railing combines several functions in one component: handrail, knee rail and diagonal brace are combined in one component and can be installed from the lower level - without risky climbing over. Complete side protection is therefore always available when stepping onto the next higher platform. The protection is also retained when dismantling, which is an enormous safety benefit when working at great heights. The GuardMatic-System also reduces the number of individual parts, which simplifies transport and storage and significantly speeds up assembly and dismantling.
Don't forget the duty to inspect: ACADEMY and INSPECT by KRAUSE
Working at height also means a great deal of responsibility for employers and safety officers. In addition to the right scaffolding, regular inspections play a decisive role. With KRAUSE INSPECT, the manufacturer offers the right service for the professional inspection of mobile scaffolding, ladders and other work equipment - in accordance with the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health and the applicable DGUV regulations.
Alternatively, employees can train to become a ‘qualified person’ at the KRAUSE ACADEMY in order to carry out the required inspections in the company with legal certainty. In addition to seminars that take place nationwide in attractive hotels or directly at the KRAUSE factory, the access technology professionals also offer on-site seminars that are customised for companies. The access technology products used in the company are integrated into the seminar to ensure maximum practical relevance.
Efficiently and safely into the new season
If you want to get up high in spring, you shouldn't make any compromises when choosing access technology. With the mobile scaffolding from KRAUSE, there are numerous variants available that combine safety, comfort and efficiency - with full conformity to standards and maximum user-friendliness.
