- Fastened on both sides of the ladder sections
- The maximum thickness of the upstand plus the distance between the ladders on both sides of the parapet gives the required crossover depth (the minimum distance between the wall and rungs as specified by the standard is 150 mm)
- The ladder section for a parapet height of between 840 mm and 900 mm must be ordered as well
