New single-sided and double-sided telescopic step ladders from KRAUSE

The use of ladders in stairwells or areas with large landings is usually only possible with aids, if at all. In many cases, however, these do not meet the safety requirements or are cumbersome to assemble and move. KRAUSE has addressed this problem with the introduction of two new telescopic step ladders. These have four extendable stile extensions that can be quickly and easily adapted to the conditions and obstacles.

The new KRAUSE Telescopic step ladders

Available as a single-sided step ladder with safety rail and storage tray or as a double-sided step ladder, the telescopic ladders are characterised by their ease of use. Starting at the top step, one or two ladder rails are positioned, depending on the installation variant. The smooth-running, anodised rail extensions can then be loosened using large, internal wing nuts to compensate for the height difference. Only three of the telescopic rails may be extended at any one time. The external sliding mechanism with an infinitely variable adjustment range of up to 1,150 mm on the support section (1,110 mm for the double step ladder) enables the greatest possible flexibility.

Two variants with proven product advantages

The two new versions of the tried-and-tested STABILO single-sided and double-sided step ladders offer all the advantages of the conventional models. These include, for example, a high safety rail with multifunctional tray and stable, bolted high-tech metal hinges with integrated anti-trap protection on the step ladders. Straps sewn into metal straps, two-component foot plugs and additional corner braces are used on both models. In addition, the KRAUSE STABILO models have many bolted components that can be easily replaced. Both ladders are also equipped with profiled, reinforced, 80 mm deep D-shaped steps for safe access and comfortable standing and therefore fulfil the requirements of TRBS 2121-2 for the use of steps as a workplace.

For whom is it worth buying a stair ladder?

For craftsmen - especially if they work a lot in buildings - a stair ladder is part of the basic equipment. This type of ladder is often used by painters and electricians. Janitorial services or gardening companies can also benefit from the purchase of a stair ladder. In the private sector, the purchase of a telescopic ladder can also be useful. Especially for homeowners who want to carry out regular renovation or maintenance work, stairway ladders provide a safe and stable base for carrying out work at height. Thanks to the individually adjustable rails, they can also be used on many spiral staircases.
