According to the requirements of BetrSichV § 14 (inspection of work equipment), the employer must ensure that work equipment is inspected regularly. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure the proper condition and safe functioning of this work equipment. The intervals of the inspection depend on the operating conditions (frequency of use, stress during use, frequency and severity of defects found in previous inspections).
The inspection should be carried out at least once a year and may only be performed by a competent person. The KRAUSE inspection sheets serve as checklists for the inspection of different access technology products and facilitate the documentation:
